Gettin' High

I no longer jump -- I fly.

This year's birthday celebration ended on a high note with my birthday party at trapeze school.

I loved it. LOVED it.

It was scary and strange and challenging and exhilarating all the same time.

I really had low expectations for the class. I figured I would swing back and forth a couple times, then drop into the net. That's it. I didn't expect that my second time up I would be hanging by my feet off the trapeze. And by my third time, I made contact with another trapeze artist and swung through the air with him!

There's nothing cooler in the world than hanging by your legs, upside-down with your arms outstretched ... then suddenly seeing the hands of a guy who is upside-down another trapeze, waiting to catch you. It was incredible.

Jason was a natural at it too. You should have seen his backflip. That man belongs in the air one way or another.

I can't wait to go back.
